Woman accuses Rapido auto driver of molestation
A 42-year-old woman, working as the HR head at a private company filed a complaint with the police, alleging that an autorickshaw driver molested her and that she had to jump from the moving auto to save her life. She added the driver also tried to snatch her laptop and later sent her obscene messages.
No FIR has been registered.
The woman had booked an auto on the Rapido app for her house on Thursday evening at 6.30 pm from Basai Chowk.
She has provided the police with the screenshots of the messages. She added the accused seemed drunk. A senior police officer said that the company had suspended the suspect from its panel.
