Woman Head Constable held for accepting Rs 10K bribe

A team of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have arrested a woman Head Constable red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000. The accused demanded Rs 10,000 for giving a copy of the compromise in a case. The cop, Parmila, was posted at the Manesar Women Police Station,

According to the ACB, the complainant had a dispute with a woman. Both were called to the police station for reconciliation, following which their statements were recorded. When the complainant asked for a copy of the agreement, the accused asked him to give her a bribe of Rs 10,000. The victim then lodged a complaint against her with the ACB.

“Following this, the ACB laid a trap and sent the complainant with Rs 5,000 on Wednesday. Pramila was arrested red-handed while accepting the bribe. The accused is being questioned woman head constable,” said an official of the ACB.
