The accused, identified as Ruksina (wife of Attaullah) and her nephew Asfaq, were found slaughtering a cow and packing the beef in polythene for distribution in surrounding areas. The police recovered 180 kg of fresh beef, an axe, a bike, two sickles, a UPI scanner, an electronic fork, and other items from the spot.

Following a tip-off, the police raided Attaullah’s house in Khanpur Ghati, accompanied by the village sarpanch. On arrival, the police found the three accused chopping the cow into pieces. As the officers attempted to arrest them, the accused fled, but Ruksina and Asfaq were caught. Attaullah, however, escaped by scaling a wall.
