Woman stabbed to death in Gurugram, 1 arrested

A woman was stabbed to death in Binola village here over her alleged illicit relationship with two men. The accused, who was in a relationship with the woman, was arrested by the police on Tuesday.

The accused was identified as Vinod. According to the police, they received information that a woman named Neelam was brought to Civil Hospital, Rewari, in a critical condition, and had died later.

Her husband said Neelam had illicit relations with two persons, Vinod and Sudhir. On Monday, he saw Vinod arguing with Neelam over her relation with Sudhir. When she asked him to leave her house, Vinod attacked her with a knife on her stomach and hand, leading to serious injuries.

“Vinod said he stabbed Neelamd as he felt that she was ignoring him,” said a police spokesperson.
