BJP to focus on 42 lost assembly segments to strengthen base, in-charges appointed

The BJP has appointed its ministers and MLAs as observers in the 42 assembly seats represented by the Opposition MLAs.

The decision was taken at a crucial meeting of the BJP Legislature Party chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at his residence here on Tuesday.

The party is focused on strengthening its organisational structure in these assembly segments where the party faced defeat in the 2024 elections.

The meeting also focused on reviewing ongoing development works and accelerating the pace of progress across constituencies.

BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli, after the two-hour meeting, said the party had assigned one MLA each in every assembly constituency to oversee development work.

The party asked its MLAs to focus on resolving public grievances, identifying fresh development needs, and ensuring visible progress on the ground.

Among the ministers, Krishan Kumar Bedi has been appointed the in-charge of Sirsa, Shruti Choudhry of Ellenabad, Krishan Lal Panwar of Adampur, Arvind Sharma of Garhi Sampla Kiloi, Vipul Goyal of Rohtak, Arti Singh Rao of Jhajjar and Rao Narbir Singh of Prithla.

Besides, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda has been assigned Guhla assembly constituency, Ranbir Gangwa Tohana and Gaurav Gautam Dabwali.
