Surveillance footage, shared by the restaurant on Facebook, shows the group entering the premises and ordering a large meal, which reportedly included a variety of curries, lamb chops, and other dishes. Later video clips capture the group abruptly leaving their table and dashing out of the restaurant, with a staff member seen chasing after them.

According to a bill posted by the restaurant, the men left behind an unpaid tab of £197.30 (approximately Rs 23,000).

In a statement on social media, Saffron warned other local businesses to remain vigilant. "Last night at approximately 10:15 PM, four young men entered our restaurant, enjoyed a full meal, and left without paying," the post read. "This kind of behaviour isn’t just theft — it directly impacts hardworking small businesses and our community."

The restaurant confirmed that the incident has been reported to the police and that surveillance footage has been submitted as evidence. They also issued a public appeal for help identifying the individuals involved.
