New Delhi, May 22

The Centre on Friday allowed travel of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders who wish to come to India on account of family emergencies. This was stated in an official order.

The order said minor children born to Indian nationals abroad and holding OCI cards were allowed to come to India.

The government said couples where one spouse is an OCI cardholder, the other an Indian and they have permanent residence in India are allowed to come.
