A video circulating online shows a man approaching Jaishankar's car and tearing the Indian national flag in front of London police officers, who appeared to remain unresponsive to the act of vandalism.
Jaishankar is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom and Ireland from March 4 to 9 to strengthen India's diplomatic ties with both nations.
