Man murders wife, 2 daughters at home

A 28-year-old woman and her two daughters, aged seven and five, were found dead in their home in the wee hours of Saturday morning in Northeast Delhi’s Karawal Nagar area, the police said.

The police have arrested the accused, Pardeep Kashyap (29), from the Mukund Vihar area. The police said the incident took place on Friday night. Ongoing dispute between the couple is suspected to be the primary motive behind the murder. However, the exact reason behind the murder is not known yet, an official said.

As per the police, a PCR call regarding the death of a woman and her two daughters was received at the Karawal Nagar police station.

After getting information, the police reached the spot and found the bodies of a woman, aged about 28 years, and her two daughters, aged 7 and 5, in their room, an official said. The bodies were sent to GTB Hospital for post-mortem examination. A case under Section 103(1) (murder) of the BNS has been registered at the Karawal Nagar police station. Further investigation was on into the matter.
