Child actor Aditi Jatare, who essays the lead role of Ahilyabai Holkar in Sony TV’s show Punyashlok Ahilyabai, goes the extra mile to get into the skin of her character. For one of the pivot1al tracks of Vat Purnima, Aditi not just delivered her scenes but made an effort to understand the importance of Vat Purnima. Being the youngest on the sets, she surprised everyone with her dedication!

Says Aditi, “I like to push myself as my character demands it. I owe this to the audience. I have learnt a lot on this show and will continue to learn. When we were shooting for the Vat Purnima sequence, I felt if I understood its significance, I would be able to deliver better. Everyone on the sets took great efforts to explain the importance of Vat Punima.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
