Singer and television show host Aditya Narayan drew severe criticism from his fans after a video of him hitting a fan during a concert at Bhilai in Chhattisgarh, went viral online.

In the video clip, Aditya is seen singing ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from the film ‘Don’ (2006) when he tried to pull the phone of one his fans in the audience, and when he failed to do so, he hit him. Following this, he took the phone in his hand and threw it away from the crowd.

However, the reason behind this act of his remains unclear.
