Ali Merchant wins Iconic Artist Award

Ali Merchant was awarded with India’s Most Iconic Artist 2021-22 in an award ceremony which was held in Goa recently.

Ali was presented with the award to recognise and appreciate his 16 years in the entertainment industry. The talented actor has over 1,000 episodes of television content and 1,000 hours of live shows under his belt for which he was recognised. Apart from being a great actor and DJ, Ali is also an anchor and music producer.

Commenting on the occasion, Ali said, “It always feels special when you’re awarded for the hard work you have done and for an artiste being normal is a disaster. We require motivation regularly. Awards surely motivate me to do better and better every time.”

In his acceptance speech, Merchant said, “Thank you to all the channels, labels, club owners, event companies, etc. for making me host gigs for their patrons regularly.”
