The actor will be seen playing a specially-abled character for the first time. Amal elaborates, “I am excited like everyone else. I am really looking forward to the show. It’s a new show with a new concept and it’s an amalgamation of Haryanvi culture and South Indian culture. Also, for the first time in my career I got a chance to play an specially-abled character and there is a back-story that led to my leg condition.”

Amal adds that this character is very different from the roles that he has done earlier. “Till date I have only played either a positive or a negative character. But Santook, my character in Harphool Mohini has grey shades. He has got various layers. He is loving, caring, giving and at the same time there is sibling rivalry,” concludes Amal.
