Avika Gor to represent India in Namaste Vietnam Festival

Avika Gor has been invited as a special guest at Namaste Vietnam Festival in August. The actor, who will be debuting in Bollywood with Vikram Bhatt’s 1920—Horrors of the Heart, will be representing India at the festival. Avika says, “This festival is going to be very interesting. I am representing India, which is a huge responsibility. It will be a good opportunity to interact with people and the media out there. It is something I’m looking forward to.”

Avika has quite a fan following in Vietnam. She adds, “My last two visits to Vietnam were really amazing. I was in Ho Chi Minh City, where I visited a lot of news channels promoting my shows. I also interacted with my fans. It just made me realise that there are people around the world who love me and appreciate the work that I do. And it inspires me every day.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
