Has the lockdown changed your perception towards life?

No, the lockdown has not changed my viewpoint towards life, career or relationship. In fact, the lockdown has given us the time to reflect and retrospect. Personally, it hasn’t affected me much but what concerns me is the situation of migrant workers, daily wage earners, production workers, cab and auto drivers. I am trying to do my bit for them.

Who is your inspiration in life?

My inspiration is Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Al Pacino, and my dad. They have taught me a lot.

Does the way one acts differ on different platforms?

Yes, I don’t agree when some actors say that acting is acting, be it any medium. I believe that actors have the responsibility of telling the story. Be it any medium, TV, theatre, films or OTT, the commitment to the craft doesn’t change but some alterations in acting are needed to fit the medium.

Today’s content doesn’t have much of substance that can hold people’s attention and take them through an emotional journey. Shows like Ramayan and Mahabharat are the greatest stories ever told. The shows have made a comeback after 20 years, but people are still loving it!
