When extreme wealth and unchecked narcissism takes over, it’s only a downhill trip from there on. Here’s a story of a billionaire fashion magnate whose life turns topsy-turvy around the time of his glorious 60th birthday. Come Sunday, December 13, at 1 pm and 9 pm, &flix is set to premiere Greed. Directed by the BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker Michael Winterbottom, the film brings a stellar ensemble cast featuring Steve Coogan, Isla Fisher, David Mitchell and Asa Butterfield.

Making its way to television for the first time, ‘Greed’ tells the story of self-made British billionaire Sir Richard McCreadie (Steve Coogan), whose retail empire is in crisis. For 30 years he has ruled the world of retail fashion — bringing the high street to the catwalk and the catwalk to the high street. As fate would have it, after a damaging public inquiry, his image is tarnished. A satire on the grotesque inequality of wealth in the fashion industry, the film sees McCreadie’s rise and fall through the eyes of his biographer, Nick.
