Clearing the air: Ankita Lokhande shares bank statements after ED said Sushant Singh Rajput was paying her EMI

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), currently working on Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, had on Friday stated that the late actor was paying EMIs of the flat occupied by actress Ankita Lokhande. Rubbishing all these reports, Ankita has now shared screenshots of her bank statements on Twitter. She also wrote, “Here I cease all the speculations. As transparent as I could be. My flat’s registration as well as my Bank Statement’s (01/01/19 to 01/03/20) highlighting the EMIs being deducted from my account on a monthly basis. There is nothing more I have to say.”

Meanwhile, on Saturday the California State Assembly recognised Sushant Singh Rajput for his contribution to cinema and the community. A certificate was received by SSR’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti. Shweta later wrote on Instagram, “On the occasion of Indian Independence Day, California recognizes my brother’s (Sushant) overall contribution to society. California is with us…. are you? Thanks for your support.”

Reports also suggested that Sushant would be honoured at this year’s National Awards in a very special manner. More details were awaited.
