I have never been a typical actor. I have always had my fingers in everything. So, I like to keep some stable business also because I prefer to keep myself busy.

The OTT boom is here to stay. What is your viewpoint?

I love it. I only watch OTT myself also and I’m really dying to be part of some good projects. I love the content, new concepts and casting.

The content in general has evolved and is more real now. Do you agree with it?

Yes, things have changed. Content is more real, more relatable now. I think the audience is not ready to accept any trash. The audience is becoming more sensible. So, definitely there has been a lot of progress. I think every medium is evolving.

Social media has revolutionised the way we live and work. Do you think the same?

Well, yes, today social media is the new king. But it can have its good and bad points. I think it all depends on individual choices. You can use it in a positive way or in a negative way. I absolutely enjoy social media and my followers. I love my lifestyle and can put it out there.

Who is your inspiration in acting and why?

To be very frank, no one has been my inspiration. I just have my own style. But if it comes to actors, then I’m a complete fan of Vidya Balan, Konkona Sen, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

What has been your learning from the entertainment industry?

The industry has a place for anybody and everybody. You just have to keep working hard and be consistent. Believe in yourself.

How do you unwind after a hard day’s work?

I’m very fond of watching movies and web shows. I love travelling. Travelling is my therapy but if I can’t travel, I definitely love massages.

Two changes you feel should be brought into the industry?

One change I feel is that newcomers should be given more chances. Fresh casting is very much required. Those who deserve should get a chance.

How do you keep yourself so positive and enthusiastic?

I live life one day at a time. I am a positive person and keep my company positive too. I believe it is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.
