Although there were initial signs of improvement, he passed away on November 24. His last rites were performed the same day, with prominent personalities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in attendance.

Since his passing, several celebrities have visited Dharmendra’s Juhu residence to offer condolences. Among them were Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, and his father Rakesh Roshan, as well as Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Asha Parekh, Karisma Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani.

Dharmendra remained active in films well into his late 80s, recently appearing in Karan Johar’s 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' and Shahid Kapoor’s 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'.

His final performance will be seen posthumously in 'Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis', starring Agastya Nanda, set to release on December 25, a fitting tribute to his illustrious career spanning several decades.
