Docu-series on Barack Obama to premiere on August 4

HBO documentary series Obama: In Pursuit of a More Perfect Union is all set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on Wednesday, August 4. Directed by Emmy Award-winner Peter Kunhardt, Obama: In Pursuit of a More Perfect Union is a three-part series chronicling the personal and political journey of former president of US Barack Obama.

Weaving together conversations with colleagues, friends, and critics, and interspersed with his own speeches and news interviews, the series begins with Obama’s childhood. It then takes us through his perspective as the son of a white mother from Kansas and an African father, his impressions formed under a generation of ‘black’ leaders, and his hopes for a more inclusive America.
