For Monika, fashion means comfort
Tulsidham Ke Laddu Gopal actress Monika Singh has said that although fashion means being comfortable, that’s not always the case. She shared, “Fashion can often bring a bit of discomfort — while you want to look good, it may not always feel comfortable. That’s why I usually try to stick to simple things and keep my style very basic.”
She also revealed that she started putting more effort into her styling when she was around 20. “I realised how dressing well boosts your confidence and changes how others perceive you. Since then, I’ve enjoyed experimenting with different styles and trends,” she said.
Monika’s wardrobe has a bit of everything. She added, “Whether traditional pieces like lehengas or casual western outfits, I have it all.” She also updates her wardrobe frequently, “I don’t do it in one go. I do a little shopping here and there, picking out quality pieces that last long, and can be mixed and matched. Changing my entire wardrobe at once isn’t really my thing.”
Her fashion idol is Priyanka Chopra, and she said that she has always inspired her. She said, “She’s my role model. Her timeless, simple, yet sophisticated style has always been a source of inspiration for me.”
Monika’s go-to outfit is high-waist pants and palazzos because they are super comfortable. “High-waist pants and flowing dresses are back in trend now, which makes it easy for me to pick an outfit,” she shared.
