Govinda Mera Naam: Vicky Kaushal will be dancing to the tunes of his wife or girlfriend or both?

First for his performance as Sardar Udham Singh in Shoojit Sircar’s film, then for his wedding rumours and recently for his adventure on the Bear Grylls show Into The Wild with Bear Grylls, actor Vicky Kaushal has been in the news for a while.
And today, he announced his new film ‘Govinda Naam Mera’. Playing the titular role, Vicky shared the first look is his character Govinda Waghmare and captioned it: “Tevar hai jhakaas, dance hai first class, par life? Life hai ekdum chaos! Meet me – #GovindaNaamMera only in cinemas on 10th June 2022. Arrey rukiye, meet my partners in crime! Stay tuned!”

In the next few minutes he shared two more pictures. In the second one we see Bhumi Pednekar and the caption of this one reads, “Inke liye kya hi bole! Kam hi bole toh accha haia. Meet my better half, my wife! #GovindaNaamMera in cinemas on 10th June 2022.”

The final poster is that of Kiara, who is playing the role of Govinda’s girlfriend. Dressed in a yellow sari, Kiara is ‘Govinda ki naughty girlfriend’. And what Govinda (Vicky) has to say about her. “Inko dekh kar agar pyaar nahi hoga, toh phir kya hoga? Meet Govinda’s girlfriend. Shh, baaki jaan ne ke liye milenge cinemas mein! #GovindaNaamMera in cinemas 10th June, 2022,” Vicky captioned it.

Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the two beautiful ladies also shared these three pictures on their Instagram handles. And not just the lead actors of the film but also an excited Karan Johar made the announcement of the film on his social media handle. ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ is his home production and will be written and directed by Shashank Khaitan.
From the posters, one can imagine it to be a light-hearted family entertainer.
