‘I’ve never been competitive’: Ridhima Pandit, who is inside the Bigg Boss OTT house, had a chit-chat with us just before entering it. Here’s what she shared...
What were your reasons for participating in Bigg Boss OTT?
I am a big fan of this show and have always tried to follow it in the past whenever I could. Also, I have some spare time this year. So, I said yes to Big Boss OTT.
Which are the things you wanted to do before entering the house?
Of course, the food part. Specially have pizza and panipuris which will not be allowed inside the house.
Who has been your all-time favourite contestant in Bigg Boss?
It has to be Shweta Tiwari. The way she carried herself throughout the show is amazing.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
My weakness is my emotional side. Even my close friends and family are worried about that. Strength would be my determination and focus.
How competitive are you in real life?
Honestly, I have never been competitive. Even when we used to play board games, I was always cool about it. But during Khatron Ke Khiladi, I realised that I have that streak and that’s how I reached the second runner up position. I was an underdog.
Will you be mingling with your co-contestants inside the house?
I don’t think anyone is going there to make friends in the Bigg Boss house. But yes, there will be bonding for sure and maybe I will be impacting someone in the house in a good way.
Anything specific you are carrying to the house?
I am going to miss my family a lot. No material things. I am carrying a special blanket which has my parents’ picture in it and on tough days I am going to hug it tightly.
How do you see Karan Johar as a host?
I am a big fan of his work. The way he has been mentoring new talent in the industry is exemplary. I am hoping he will mentor us as well. Many of us have started dreaming by watching his films.
How content are you with your career?
I am working hard and my career is progressing. Because of Covid, we all have gone backwards and that’s a bad thing. I am hoping to come back with a bang.
