Hansal Mehta pens down an emotional note as veteran actor Yusuf Husain passes away

Veteran actor Yusuf Husain passed away on October 29. He was 73. As per reports, he died due to Covid-19. The actor was known for his work in several films, including Dhoom 2, Dil Chahta Hai, Raees and Vivah to name a few. He had also done TV shows such as Yudh and others.

Director Hansal Mehta shared the sad news of Yusuf Husain’s demise on his social media handle with an emotional note that read, “I had completed 2 schedules of Shahid. And we were stuck. I was troubled. A non-existent career as a filmmaker was almost finished completely. He just came up to me and said I have a fixed deposit and it is of no use to me if you are so troubled. He wrote a cheque. Shahid was completed.”
