HIT- The First Case, a suspense thriller starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, is all set to release today. Directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu, who also helmed the original movie, it is about a cop on the trail of a missing girl. It is the first time Sanya will be seen playing the role of a forensic expert.

Ammy Virk is back with yet another Punjabi film, Bajre Da Sitta, along with Tania in the lead roles. It is all about woman’s discrimination in the 70s and 80s. Tania and Noor Chahal are sisters, who are blessed with great vocals, but there is a twist when Ammy Virk marries Tania. Set in the rural backdrop, the film also stars Guggu Gill, Nirmal Rishi, Prakash Gadhu, Seema Kaushal and others.

Shabaash Mithu is all set to hit the theatres today. Headlined by Taapsee Pannu, the inspirational story of Shabaash Mithu is based on the life of Mithali Dorai Raj, the game-changer of women’s cricket in India. She redefined the gentleman’s game not only in India but globally too. The iconic skipper recently announced her retirement from international cricket after 23 years and there could be no better tribute than to depict her story on the silver screen.

Also, seen in the film will be the talented actor Vijay Raaz in a key role.
