Sony Entertainment Television’s singing reality show, Indian Idol 14, will present the Suron Ka Sultan episode, in the presence of the famous singer, Sukhwinder Singh. The contestants will sing some foot-tapping numbers while also embracing Sukhwinder’s glorious legacy in the music industry. The charming Manushi Chhillar and South Indian Superstar Varun Tej will be a part of this fun-filled episode too.

But it will be Kanpur’s Vaibhav Gupta, who will steal the spotlight with his rendition of Sukhwinder Singh’s hit song, Dil Haara from the movie Tashan. In an act of humility and respect for his idol, Sukhwinder, Vaibhav took off his shoes before coming on to the stage. While complimenting his performance, Sukhwinder Singh exclaimed, “He sang with such joy (mauj mein gaya).” Judges Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani also praised Vaibhav and acknowledged his overall act.

Also get ready to be a part of Gaane Aur Afsane with Javed Akhtar on Indian Idol Season 14. The special episode will see the contestants pay tribute to Javed sahab’s contribution to the Indian film industry. Week after week, contestant Subhadeep Das has impressed one and all with his performances, and, yet again, he will own the stage by singing Kal Ho Na Ho in his melodious voice. Before the performance, Kavita Krishnamurthy, who previously sang with Shubhadeep during the mega-auditions, will send him a special video message where she expresses how proud she was of him for reaching the top eight contestants on the show.
