Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut is all praise for KGF Chapter 2 actor Naveen Kumar who popularly goes by the name of Yash. The actress on Sunday took to her Instagram stories and shared a poster of the movie featuring Yash.

Ranaut compared the actor to Amitabh Bachchan, calling him “the angry young man” that India was missing for many decades. She said that he filled the void that Big B had left since the seventies.

She wrote, "@thenameisyash is the angry young man India was missing since many decades...He fills that void which Mr Amitabh Bachchan left since seventies... Wonderful."

In the film, Yash portrays the role of Raja Krishnappa Bairya aka Rocky, a mafia man, who overtakes a gold-smuggling empire.

Amitabh had earned the title of 'angry young man' in the '70s and '80s with films such as 'Don', 'Deewar', 'Shakti', and 'Agneepath'.

She also shared a picture collage of several actors including Yash, Ram Charan, NTR Jr, and Allu Arjun on her social media.

"South super stars are grounded and deeply rooted in their culture... Apart from their talent and hard work, their authenticity is what strikes the cord with the audience," Ranaut wrote.

Released on April 14, KGF Chapter 2 also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken, and Saran.
