“Udne Ki Aasha completing this milestone means a lot to me,” says Kanwar, who plays the lead role of Sachin Deshmukh. “With Pandya Store, we completed around 800 episodes, and now Udne Ki Aasha is slowly inching toward that number. I’m really hoping this show helps me clock a thousand episodes — that has always been on my wish list.”

The actor adds that the credit goes to the hardworking team behind the show. “We’ve all been working day in and day out. The entire team has put in relentless effort to build this show and bring it to such heights. I have a strong intuition that Udne Ki Aasha will achieve that thousand-episode milestone,” he says confidently.

Talking about his most cherished memories from the sets, Kanwar recalls, “The outdoor shoots in Virar are my absolute favourite. Shooting amidst real people and receiving their love and energy is something else altogether. The connection feels so pure and organic. Usually, outdoor shoots happen in closed locations, but here, we’re out on real streets — the audience’s live reactions are instant, and that’s an amazing feeling.”

Reflecting on his character, Kanwar shares that Sachin Deshmukh has evolved beautifully over time. “The core of Sachin remains the same, but his personality has grown, especially after his marriage to Saili. He started off as a brash guy who didn’t understand relationships, but now he has softened and matured. His emotional journey is what makes him so relatable, and I love exploring those layers as an actor.”

Kanwar believes that Udne Ki Aasha’s relatability is what truly connects with audiences. “Every Indian household has a Sachin, a Saili, a Tejas, a Baba, or a Renu. When people see a reflection of themselves in these characters, they instantly relate and get invested. People cry when Sachin cries and laugh when he laughs — that’s the kind of bond we’ve built,” he says.

As the show continues its journey, Kanwar promises viewers more entertainment and drama. “There’s a lot more unfolding ahead — new emotions, twists and surprises in Sachin and Saili’s story. Udne Ki Aasha will continue to keep audiences entertained and connected.”
