Kishwer Merchant shares her casting couch experience

Kishwer Merchant is currently waiting for the arrival of her first child with husband Suyyash Rai. The actress keeps on sharing pics with her fans and followers flaunting her baby bump.

Recently, during a media interaction, the actress opened up on her casting couch experience. She revealed that she was once asked to ‘sleep with the hero’ by a big filmmaker.

Kishwer said, “It happened with me when I had gone for a meeting, but just once. My mother was accompanying me. I was told that I would have to sleep with the hero.”

She further added that she politely turned down the offer and left. On being asked if the same incident had kept her away from movies, Kishwer says, “I kept getting work. All said and done, I am very happy with the way my career shaped up. I stuck more to TV because it gives you more recognition. Small roles in films serve no purpose.”
