Why did you move from modeling to acting?

When I came to Mumbai in 2013, I was focusing only on modelling but then I realised that there’s not enough growth in this career and thus I started auditioning for roles.

What was your first break on television?

The show Vani Rani was my first big break on TV.

How do you deal with rejections?

When I started auditioning, I was rejected many times. But I believe there was a force within me that always told me to keep going despite all the odds and here I am today.

What is keeping you busy currently?

Currently I am prepping up for Rubaru Mr India. I further want to represent India in Mr World.

What are the strengths of an actor?

An actor’s strength is his talent for improvisation and quick reaction.

Do you believe that luck matters?

Yes, luck plays a crucial role but if you just depend on your luck, you will get nothing. It’s just that you work hard and then luck supports it.

What is your dream role?

My dream is to play Allauddin Khilji played by Ranveer Singh in Padmaavat.

Have you had a casting couch experience?

Yes, I was once asked to compromise for work when I was a newbie. But then I avoided their calls and messages.
