Loki, the original series by Marvel Studios’, is set to release on June 11 on Disney+ Hotstar Premium. Loki features the God of Mischief, as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The series is directed by Kate Herron. Announcing the release date, the makers dropped a trailer on Monday. The new trailer gives more insight into Owen Wilson’s character Mobius M. Mobius and his ‘cop-buddy’ vibe adds a dash of humour to the already existing fun created by God of Mischief. The trailer shows Loki as a fish-out-of-water when he lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority). He diminishes the existence of the TVA stating ‘The Time Keepers have built quite the circus, and I see the clowns playing their parts to perfection.’
