Loki, the original series by Marvel Studios’, is set to release on June 11 on Disney Hotstar Premium. Loki features the God of Mischief, as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The series is directed by Kate Herron. Announcing the release date, the makers dropped a trailer on Monday. The new trailer gives more insight into Owen Wilson’s character Mobius M. Mobius and his ‘cop-buddy’ vibe adds a dash of humour to the already existing fun created by God of Mischief. The trailer shows Loki as a fish-out-of-water when he lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority). He diminishes the existence of the TVA stating ‘The Time Keepers have built quite the circus, and I see the clowns playing their parts to perfection.’
