Maamla Legal Hai on way

Netflix is all set to venture into unchartered territory with Maamla Legal Hai, a courtroom comedy like no other. The freshly released trailer gives viewers a sneak peek into the hilariously chaotic world of the fictional Patparganj District Court. Here, a team of unique lawyers handles some bizarre cases with a delightful blend of humour. Produced by Posham Pa Pictures (Jaadugar, Kaala Paani) with showrunner Sameer Saxena at the helm and directed by Rahul Pandey, the series is set to premiere on March 1.

About the show, actor Ravi Kishan shares, “This is my first time essaying the character of a lawyer and I can’t tell you how much fun it was. Working with Sameer, Rahul and Saurabh was a delight; their vision truly inspired me. When they first narrated the show to me, I couldn’t say no, simply because I could visualise these characters and their shenanigans. After Khakee, this is my second project with Netflix, and I love how they challenge every actor with diverse roles. I hope the audience enjoys watching the show.”
