The ‘Spice King’, Mahashay Dharampal Gulati, owner of popular masala brand MDH, is no more. He was admitted to Mata Chanan Devi Hospital in Delhi for over three weeks. On Thursday, he died of cardiac arrest. Most of us know him as the nimble man with the red royal chundarisafa (turban), grey handlebar moustache, blessing everyone in various ads of MDH. Dharampal Gulati came to India with his family after Partition and set up his empire.
