Makers of Pippa announce film’s release date on Vijay Diwas

As we marked Vijay Diwas on December 16, this year it is extra special for all those who are excited about the Ishaan Khatter-starrer Pippa.

On the 50th anniversary of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, producers RSVP and Roy Kapur Films announced the release date of their upcoming film.

An amazing true story of an entire family on the frontline, this epic war drama will hit theatres next year on December 9. Team Pippa shared captivating stills from the upcoming movie to honour the heroes of the 1971 war.

In the stills, Ishaan can be seen commandeering an amphibious war tank which played a major role in the war. The movie is an adaptation of the book The Burning Chaffees, written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, which follows the story of the war veteran.”
