YRF’s film Mardaani 2 is Rani Mukherjee’s next release after the blockbuster Hichki.
This much-awaited cop thriller will see Rani reprising the role of the fearless and committed Superintendent of Police, Shivani Shivaji Roy. She had delivered an outstanding performance in the super-hit and hugely acclaimed prequel, Mardaani, in which she took on the kingpin of a child trafficking racket.
The film will see a woman cop fighting a person to end crimes against women.
It also marks the directorial debut of Gopi Puthran, who was the writer of the Mardaani. Shot extensively in Jaipur and Kota in Rajasthan, the film promises entertainment.
Mamangam: History of the Brave

Mamangam: History of the Brave, starring the megastar Mammootty, Unni Mukundan, Prachi Tehlan, Achuthan, Sudev Nair, Iniya, Tarun Arora is the first Malayalam film to be released in four languages— Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. In Chandigarh, it is releasing in Malayalam.
Touted to be the biggest film in Mammooty’s career, this film has four heroines—Prachi Tehlan, Prachi Desai, Abhirami V. Iyer and Malavika Menon.
The film features Mammootty as a fiery warrior and Unni Mukundan will be seen in the pivotal role of Chandroth Panicker.
Reportedly based on the Mamankam festival of the 18th century on the banks of Bharathappuzha at Tirunavaya in the Malabar region, Mamangam: History of the Brave is going to redefine filmmaking in the Malayalam cinema.

South Indian director Joseph, who directed Malayalam thriller Drishyam, makes his Hindi film debut with The Body. Vedhika also makes her debut in Bollywood.
When the body of a powerful businesswoman disappears from the morgue, the inspector-in-charge hunts for the truth. But when he questions her husband he realises that there is much more to the case than meets the eye. Thrills guaranteed in this murder mystery where Emraan Hashmi plays Dev Verma.
