Meera will soon be signing her next project. She says, “Livelihood in this industry has suffered big time due to Covid and sadly, makers are still expecting actors to work for a very less amount. Even after working for so many years, not being able to bag a part hurts sometimes. But I always remember how I started and believe that I have a long way to go.”

Meera loves her profession and further says, “I like being creatively involved and facing the camera. That makes me truly happy. So yes, I love my profession. At home, I have tried to keep myself active with hobbies and learning new things but that doesn’t even get close to the satisfaction of a good working day on the sets.” Talking about what kind of role she is looking forward to, the actress says, “I would love to play challenging characters. But I want to play a TV ki bahu/beti at the end of the day. So, if I ever get to do both in the same show, I would be very happy.
