A resident of Cork, Ireland is using a classic cinematic way to breed solidarity among his neighbourhood.
The resident—Scott Duggan—projected the Marilyn Manore comedy flick, ‘Gentlemen Prefer Blondes’ on a wall at the side of a house for the street to enjoy.
He also broadcasts the FM radio for people to listen together.
Several of Duggan’s neighbours appreciated the effort. The tweeted their support for the initiative.
“My neighbour @scottduggan had the most beautiful idea to project classic movies for our terrace, listening to the movie on an FM signal sitting in our own separate front gardens made us all feel a little less alone :) donations went to @AgeAction”, one tweet read.
