When did you realise you had the passion for acting?

I think I always wanted to be an actor. As such also, I started acting at the age of five.

Does each story in Swaad touch a different angle in the journey?

Swaad is all about different flavours and moments of life. The film has four stories and I hope they add different flavours to life which is nowadays missing.

How has been the shooting experience in various locations in Delhi and Mumbai during the pandemic?

Initially, I was shooting from home but for Swaad, we finished the whole shoot in a record span following all covid protocols. I was glad to shoot in Delhi as I could meet my grandparents after a long time. Much of my paternal side is in Delhi and it was fun meeting cousins and eating Punjabi food.

Are there things you want to do other than acting?

I have just completed my schooling and I am very interested in film making and would like to pursue it. I want to do graduation in Mass Media from Mumbai itself so that I can pursue both studies and acting.

Describe your most challenging role till date.

I take every role as a challenge and try to give it my best. I have learnt a lot from the directors and actors I have worked with. Everyday has been a learning curve.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I want to explore myself as an actor. I have been doing television for some time now. After Manmarziyaan, I got many offers, but nothing was very exciting. Swaad gave me the opportunity to be a lead in the first episode.

How do you maintain the balance between studies and acting?

Since my mother is a teacher, I always had a set study schedule.

Do you think OTT platforms have changed the game?

My web debut was in April this year. I have tried to work in all segments, be it television, films or OTT. Of course, OTT fulfils you as an actor.
