Last seen in Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari and Ludo, Fatima Sana Shaikh also has Netflix’s Ajeeb Dastans in her kitty. And now we hear that she has been finalised as the main lead of the Hindi remake of Tamil hit, Aruvi. The film starred Aditi Balan and was directed by Arun Prabhu Purushothaman. But the Hindi film will be made by Eshwar Nivas. The project will be bankrolled by Applause Entertainment and Viki Rajani’s Faith Films.

In the film, the lead protagonist is disowned by her family and has to build a new life in Chennai. Aditi Balan put up a wonderful performance of a woman who finds an outlet to her anger on reality TV.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
