Nishad Vaidya on playing a negative role on screen

Actor Nishad Vaidya, who is seen in Zee TV’s popular fiction drama Qurbaan Hua, plays the negative role of Aalekh in the show. While Nishad is surely enjoying essaying this grey shaded character, there was a time when he took a four-year break from the small screen in search of a proper antagonist’s role.

Nishad said, “In fact, I must say that playing a negative character has become a stress buster for me. It has changed my perception…”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
