Now, Vidya Balan supports Rhea Chakraborty

After Swara Bhaskar and Taapsee Pannu, now Vidya Balan has come forward in support of Rhea Chakraborty. Replying to actress Lakshmi Manchu’s post about the media trial on Rhea, Vidya wrote, “God bless you @LakshmiManchu for saying this out loud. It is so unfortunate that the tragic and untimely death of a beloved young star Sushant Singh Rajput has become a media circus. In the same breath, as a woman, my heart breaks at the vilification of Rhea Chakraborty. Isn’t it supposed to be ‘Innocent Until Proven Guilty’, or is it now ‘Guilty Until Proven Innocent’? Let’s show some respect for the Constitutional rights of a citizen and let the law take its course.”

Meanwhile, according to Rhea’s lawyer, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka had asked the actor to take anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medicines on June 8, six days before he passed away. However, Dr Tarun Kumar, who had signed that prescription, is reportedly a cardiologist. The authenticity of the prescription is in doubt. In another development, Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday conducted multiple raids based on information related to drug supplying and arrested some drug peddlers. Reports suggested that one of the drug peddlers had admitted links with Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty.
