Released worldwide towards the end of November last year, Universal Pictures’ ‘Licorice Pizza’ went on to gain critical-acclaim owing to its portrayal of the love story between two protagonists with an age difference of 10 years.

Having made waves across the globe, the movie is all set to delight cinephiles in India with a nationwide theatrical release on 25 February, 2022.

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the movie made its mark in the 94th Academy nominations as it was nominated for Best Picture as well as Best Original Screenplay at the 2022 Oscars. The movie also earned the director a Best Director nominee for the film.

Licorice Pizza is a story of Gary and Alana where Gary is a 15-year-old teenage actor making his dreams come true in the California San Fernando Valley during the 1970s, while Alana is a 25-year-old photography assistant with a seemingly aimless grasp on life.

The movie also stars Bradley Cooper in a supporting role alongside Saun Penn.
