Pavitra Rishta 2 takes off

Shooting of the much-awaited Season 2 of Pavitra Rishta finally went on the floors on July 11. While Ankita Lokhande will be reprising her role, Shaheer Sheikh will be playing the male lead. The first look of Shaheer, Ankita and the rest of the cast just got out and the fans can’t keep calm.

In the picture, Shaheer and Ankita in their Manav and Archana’s avatar are seen holding the clapboard for the camera. In another picture, Shaheer is seen with Usha Nadkarni who played Manav’s mother. Also, seen in a picture is Randeep Rai from Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai as well as Asheema Vardhan.

Sharing the pictures of the cast along with Shaheer, the caption on the official handle read, “Sometimes in most ordinary lives, we find the most extraordinary love stories! Pavitra Rishta began in 2009 and had entertained the audience for quite a long time. Sushant Singh Rajput was seen as Manav but later he quit the show in 2011 and Hiten Tejwani stepped into his shoes and went on to be Manav for three years.
