Singer Sidhu Moosewala’s death left everyone shocked. It brought everything to standstill in the Punjabi entertainment industry. Most artists decided to put their upcoming songs, movie releases on hold, live shows were cancelled and shoots paused.

After two weeks of mourning, it looks like the industry is coming back to normal. Gippy Grewal’s production house Humble Motion Pictures, which had cancelled the release of its film Posti on June 3, is now ready to release it worldwide on June 17.

After having a successful release of Maa, starring Divya Du

tta and Gippy Grewal, the team is all set to showcase one of its most-awaited films on the big screen.

Talking about the film, filmmaker-actor Gippy Grewal said, “I thank God that I am able to share such meaningful stories in the form of films with my fans. I am very happy that the audience understands and likes them. We have tried our best to make the audience aware of the reality of the world along with entertainment so that our future generations can learn something from them. I also hope that like every film, my upcoming film Posti will also be praised.”

Gippy also shared some promotional images from the film on his Instagram Stories.

‘Posti’, according to the makers, highlights the reality of the growing rate of drug menace in Punjab. The film is written and directed by Rana Ranbir. It stars Babbal Rai, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Surili Gautam, Raghbir Boli, Zareen Khan, Vada Grewal, and Rana Ranbir in lead roles.
