During the pre-wedding festivities, Radhika Merchant’s ‘heartfelt’ speech for Anant Ambani sparked controversy as netizens drew parallels between her speech and dialogue from Susan Sarandon’s character in the popular Hollywood film, ‘Shall We Dance?’

In the clip that has gone viral, Radhika’s words mirror those spoken by Sarandon’s character in the film, leaving fans and netizens disappointed and questioning the authenticity of her speech.

She articulated, “There are more than a billion people on this earth, and what does life really mean? But when you find someone who promises to take care for you through everything, whether it’s good, bad…..”

The video received comments like “That’s what money can’t buy… class and creativity”; “Even ChatGPT would have done a better job at writing”.

Another thing that gained the attention of eagle-eyed netizens was Anant’s expressions while Radhika was delivering the speech. He seemed indifferent and completely bored.
