Rapper Drake dons t-shirt with Sidhu Moosewala’s name

Rapper Drake paid a tribute to late singer Sidhu Moosewala by wearing a t-shirt with his name, as he kick-started his October World Weekend. The event took place in Toronto. There’s also a video going viral where he is addressing the crowd while donning the t-shirt. Many users appreciated the gesture shown by Drake for Sidhu. After Sidhu’s killing in May this year, Drake had remembered the Punjabi singer by posting an Instagram story. — TMS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
