Realms that brought acclaims Janaawar's ways
Bhuvan Arora opens up about undercurrents behind the making of Janaawar – The Beast Within
ZEE5’s latest Original crime drama, Janaawar – The Beast Within, has been earning acclaim for its gripping narrative and complex exploration of faith, identity, and morality. Directed by Shachindra Vats and led by Bhuvan Arora, the series delivers more than a typical murder mystery — it delves into the psychological and spiritual realms that shape human behaviour.
At the heart of the story is Sub-Inspector Hemant Kumar, portrayed by Arora, a man caught between duty and doubt. His investigation into a brutal crime gradually uncovers layers of buried secrets, communal prejudice and internal conflict. As the mystery deepens, the series raises philosophical questions about justice, belief and the unseen forces that influence our actions.
In a surprising revelation, Bhuvan Arora shared that the filming process itself was steeped in an uncanny energy.
We were feeling the presence of a mythological figure or a superpower — an almighty — helping us throughout the shoot,” Arora said. “It’s a central question in the show as well: What is your equation with God? And this belief is deeply rooted in the region where the story unfolds. Locals even shared incidents where they felt an overwhelming presence — something unexplainable but powerful.”
As Janaawar – The Beast Within continues to engage audiences, its mix of suspense and spirituality sets it apart as a crime thriller with depth and cultural resonance.
