Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left everyone in shock. The actor’s case has now been CBI for investigation.
Amid this, several netizens are raising doubts as to why Rhea Chakraborty was present at the Cooper Hospital morgue post-Sushant’s death.
Now, as per the latest information shared by Republic TV, an eyewitness—who apparently accompanied Rhea to the morgue—told the news channel, that he allegedly heard Rhea apologising to the actor’s remains.
The man, Surjeet Singh Rathore, accompanied Rhea to the morgue on June 15. He claimed that when Rhea saw Sushant’s mortal remains, she said: “Sorry Baby”. He also alleged that Rhea’s brother, Showik Chakraborty, and her mom also wanted to see Sushant.
However, the Mumbai Police did not let them.
The eyewitness told the news channel: “I removed the white cloth from the body’s face and he had marks on his neck- I had doubt at that time itself. The moment I removed the cloth, Rhea placed her hand on his (Sushant’s) chest and said ‘Sorry, babu’. I thought, ‘ Why was she saying sorry now?’ I then took her outside as she started crying.”
Meanwhile, Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra home on June 14.
