With newer and better concept-driven shows being created for television, actor Saee Barve feels this has also led to greater opportunities for talented actors. Saee says, “Nowadays, shows are getting better and better. Concepts are improving. Writers are thinking beyond saas-bahu sagas. Shows are surely improving and there is a lot of scope for talented actors in a daily soap now.”

Saee thinks her show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha also stands out as it focuses on a mother-son relationship and at heart it is a beautiful love story of a disabled but talented guy. Saee plays the character of Parul, a happy-go-lucky daughter-in-law.

“For Parul, her family comes first. She can go to any extent to make her family happy. Parul is a bridge between Darsh and Nandini’s love story,” she says, adding that in real life she is also a homely girl.
